The summer was spent visiting various shows and events around the area.
First was the Turriff and district show in the Haughs, this was rather a wet affair, with still quite a good turn out of cars.
The drive home showed the benefit of having a heated screen.

This was followed by the Rotary club show held at Milton of Crathes, which was the the exact opposite as far as weather was concerened. A hot sunny day allowed plenty of cars and people to turn out.

A short break, saw us return in time for the R W Thompson Rally in Stonehaven, held to honour the inventor of the Pneumatic tyre.

The first Sunday in August saw us at the local show in Oldmeldrum, again the weather held for a fantastic day.
|

Next was the show held at Buckie, a little drizzle didn't put people off and a good selection of car where there.

A slightly longer trip was next to the Motormania event in Grantown on Spey, this is a well attended event that takes over the centre of the village, with the streets being closed to hold the event.

The final show of the year is held by the National trust for Scotland, in partnership with the North-East Morris Minors club, a great setting in front of the castle, with a turn out of over 200 cars.
