While out on the Light up Peterhead parade, I noticed a clunk when I lifted off the throttle. This had happened before when a engine steady bracket had become detached from the bulkhead, this had been welded up and all had been well. This time on investigation it turned out that the bolt had fallen out and a small crack had developed in another bit of the bracket. So I re welded the bracket and fitted a new bolt. Also in my stash of spares, I found a lower engine steady. This attaches to the right hand side of the sump. Then a 8mm hole is made on the subframe to attach the steady to.
